On September 1, 2026, Meriter hospital will be decommissioning their IRB.   

Meriter Leadership is maintaining a Research Integrity Office as the amount of research at Meriter has not declined.  Meriter hosts over 75 UW studies per year, mostly exempt record review research.  

The purpose of the Meriter Research Integrity Office will be to ensure protection of human subjects.  To this end, all investigators will register their research with the Meriter Research Integrity Office prior to starting their study at Meriter.
