The ED/SBS IRB staff are happy to answer questions:
Email is by far the best way to contact us. With email, staff are able to provide the best responses and both parties have a paper trail to refer back to. We respond to email in a timely fashion.
If you are unable to reach us directly via phone, our recommendation is to send an email with your question or to set up a time to speak on the phone (or in person). If you leave a voicemail, it will very likely be returned via email. Voicemail messages which do not include a clear name and email are likely to be deleted and not returned. If you are calling about a protocol in ARROW, please contact the assigned staff reviewer.
We offer drop-in hours for walk-in questions, and are also happy to schedule an appointment. Prior to meeting with IRB staff, be sure to have completed CITI training and started an application in ARROW. More information is available here.
